We looked for the best cost-effective health products for our personal use. We were so satisfied with what we found and decided to share them with you. It all began when we noticed that dialysis centers popped up everywhere. A little investigation revealed that many commonly prescribed drugs for chronic diseases have the undesirable side effect of slowly injuring the kidney. Taking these drugs for the long term – over tens of years – may reduce renal function to a degree that requires dialysis. Half a century ago, most people died from other chronic diseases before reaching renal failure. With wonderful advances in medicine, the population that suffers from renal failure and requires dialysis to survive increases because people nowadays live much longer with chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus. Witnessing close relatives with no family history of kidney disease suffered and died from renal failure is heartbreaking. Their average life expectancy on dialysis is typically a few years. They must be transported to a local dialysis center thrice a week for a four-hour dialysis session. Their quality of life suffers tremendously once they are on dialysis and supporting them takes a lot of family resources. How nice would it be if we can stay healthy with reduced dependence on drugs that have undesirable side effects? We ended up with the health-promoting herbal teas and functional creamers developed for patients and friends by an Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Practitioner, who has a traditional Western medicine background. And as they said, the rest is history.
